Middlesbrough completed €3.8 million (US$5.6million) deal for Arsenal defender Justin Hoyte. The English defender will fill up the void created by Luke Young, who joined Aston Villa last week, in Middlesbrough. He arrived at riverside on a four-year contract. It was earlier reported that Arsenal had agreed on a proposal offered from Middlesbrough for Justin Hoyte and the deal was just a matter of time to come into existence.
The defender represented England under-21 and was thought to be one of the young prospects of English football, but he failed to live up to the expectation at Arsenal where he joined in his youth. Since his debut with Arsenal senior team in 2003, he could win only 68 first team appearance. Even he served Sunderland on loan for the 2005-06 season. Now, let us see if the player wins more first team appearance at Middlesbrough.
