Scolari revealed that Arsene Wenger had started negotiations for Kalou about a month or two ago. However, Scolari was not interested to sell Salomon Kalou.
There are many who think that Wenger does not want to add high profile players in the squad and always go for low-budget signings. Here, we can see that Wenger knows it very well who can do what for the club.
